Each year, TASIS England becomes a
‘home away from home’ for 200 boarding
students. In our welcoming community,
students from over 50 nations live and
learn in an atmosphere that promotes
character development, an enthusiasm for
lifelong learning, and an appreciation for
cultural diversity.
Proximity to central London and Heathrow
Airport allows access to the cultural
riches of London and Europe. Field trips,
weekend activities, and travel abroad
extend learning beyond the classroom.

Non-native
English speakers benefit from a well-
established and integrated English
Language programme.
Curricula offered includes the American
high school diploma, a choice of 20
Advanced Placement courses, and the
International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma.
Our IB students have attained a 99%
pass rate over the last 5 years, versus the
worldwide rate of 79%. Ranked among
the top 25 Independent IB Schools in the
UK, TASIS England earned a prestigious
Crystal Award for IB excellence in 2014.
TheClass of 2015 achieved an average of 34
points, well above the 29 point worldwide
average, and 30% of the candidates
received bi-lingual IB Diplomas.
Outside the classroom
All boarding students participate in
educational school-supervised trips to
various European destinations during the
Fall Travel Week. Extracurricular activities,
community service, drama, art, music, and
leadership opportunities (including the
Model UN and Duke of Edinburgh Award)
further enhance their education.
The comprehensive athletics programme
includes recreational and competitive
sports. Teams travel to tournaments held
in Europe and beyond.

Students are encouraged to develop

communication
skills,
the
confidence to challenge thinking, and the
ability to understandmultiple perspectives
and work with different cultures. These
lifelong skills will prove to be valuable
tools for their future.
